What are the SU Officer Elections?

The SU Officer Elections are where you, the student body, vote to elect fellow students into full-time leadership roles. These elected officers then work for you for a year, representing your views to the university and leading projects to improve student life. The positions are SU President, Activities Officer, Education Officer, and Equity Officer.

Your newly elected SU Officer Team at Huddersfield Students' Union for 2026/27 is led by SU President Dobby Dey, alongside Activities Officer Mel Doyle, Education Officer Muhammad Zawiar Saif, and Equity Officer Abdul Rahim Edrees. The team will work together to represent students, support student activities, improve the academic experience, and champion equality and inclusion across campus.
